Hi, I’m Florence, the Director and Speech Pathologist at Small Sparks Speech Therapy.

I am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia and hold a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney.

​

I have experience supporting children with speech sounds, language, literacy, fluency and multimodal communication.

​

I have worked with children and families in homes, preschools and schools, as well as via telehealth.

 

I believe therapy works best when children feel comfortable, understood and engaged. My approach is:

• warm and family-centred

• strengths-based and individualised

• practical and focused on everyday communication

• shaped around each child’s needs, interests and routines

• collaborative with families, educators and other professionals

I enjoy making therapy engaging and meaningful through play, books, games, conversation and activities connected to each child’s interests.

Most importantly, I want children to feel safe, supported and proud of their progress.
